Nicole and Michael – March 23, 2013 (Los Angeles Wedding Planner)

Mr. and Mrs. Lawson! Donald Norris Photography

If I had to describe Nicole and Michael’s wedding in one word, it would be “Fun.” Laughter with family and friends, taking on a trampoline in her wedding dress, and wild poses in the photo booth, and empty, frost-covered cake plates. FUN.   Nicole’s vision was an elegant and simple French countryside wedding, and that’s exactly what she got, with an extra helping of really good wine, and really, really good food. Almost every single decorative element was DIY’d, from the centerpieces she and her family created before the rehearsal to the “birdy” cake topper.

And the vendors she brought in were some of my own favorites, and a perfect fit: Donald Norris for photography (including the photo booth). Sasha Kuczynski created a wonderful ceremony for them, and Deviant String Quartet led them down the aisle (and played movie theme songs before and after). Heirloom LA and Zeke’s Smokehouse Barbecue for catering. Hansen’s cakes. Bouquets and Bouts by Enchanted Florist. And, Corey Parker from Gumbo Entertainment kept the dance floor packed.

I can’t wait to see Don’s pictures – don’t worry, I already started bugging him for them. Stay tuned!
See you at the end of the aisle,
