Happy Anniversary, Angie and Justin

Angie and Justin, 7/9/11

Happy First Anniversary to Angie and Justin! Their gorgeous wedding was at Calamigos Ranch. Angie only wanted two things – purple lanterns and french macaroons. The lanterns were easy, but the macaroons? The macaroons…my assistant and I searched far and wide for them. You wouldn’t think it would be that hard, would you? Some were expensive, some had to be delivered, some were just bad.
I might have mentioned at some point that my office is in a Studio Lot, where they shoot True Blood (Yes, Alcide is even hotter in person, no, I am serious), so I went to the studio cafe for lunch, and there were macaroons. $1 a piece, discount for bulk, and unbelievably good. The cafe is run by a catering company called Global Cuisine, the macaroons are still yummy, and they are still the same price. GO.

But what I remember most about their wedding was walking outside, around 9 o’clock at night, and there was Angie, shoes off, feet propped on a table, fluffy princess dress pooled around her feet, laughing hysterically with her friends. My favorite part of every wedding. You’ll get there, too.

Speaking of which, I’m still scheduling Charmed Consulations for this week, $35 for 30 minutes, or $50 for an hour, and I’m booking Day of Coordination for this fall. So whether you want a wedding tune-up session or some serious help on the big day, just let me know what you need!

See you at the end of the aisle,
