Cool Wedding Thing of the Week – if by “cool” you mean “surreal” or “slightly terrifying.”
Halfway through Caleb and Candra Pense’s ceremony in Olathe, Kansas, photographer Cate Eighmey noticed there were a couple of tornadoes touching down in the distance. They were concerned, you know, of course, but made it through the wedding. Eighmey was even able to get this once in a lifetime shot. “You’ve got a Kansas tornado, a Kansas wheat field, a cowboy and his bride. It doesn’t get much more Kansas than that,” Eighmey said.
