Here’s my latest segment on Huffington Post Live. Believe it or not, I did this for the lounge at the Ritz Carlton Marina Del Rey, before a wedding rehearsal!

Ironically, I answered a different question on the same subject in my Ask: Liz column on The Broke-Ass Bride yesterday, so check that out, too. Bottom line: If you don’t like your ring, be honest, as soon as possible. If it’s a matter of style, you have to wear it for the rest of your life. It’s a matter of money, together the two of you can find a ring you love for the price he paid for the one you don’t. It’s not going to stop bugging you, but it will build resentment if you don’t do something about it.
And, if you do love your ring, no matter how small or “unstylish” it may be, then it doesn’t matter what anyone has to say about it.
One more thing: Just because he got you a bad ring doesn’t mean he doesn’t know you, or love you. And, if that’s going around in your head, you’ve got bigger problems than an “ugly” ring!
