Throwback Thursday: Amy + Rob at Huron Substation
Posted: February 18, 2016
Amy and Rob didn’t have a huge budget, but Amy’s Maid of Honor, Becca (right behind her) was a designer for Martha Stewart Weddings at the time. As you can see from the pictures, she had some great ideas on how could create a beautiful wedding day with what they had. Huge red poms as a background, and lots of string lights. I was thrilled when Grey Likes Weddings decided to feature this on their blog. This was my first wedding at Huron, and it’s a great venue if you want a simple, but gorgeous palette to build on – it used to be one of L.A.’s electric power stations. Love the brick, love the backyard. AND Amy and Rob served ice cream sandwiches from Coolhaus during the reception.
I’m amazed with how much much you can do with less, you know? Go to Grey Likes Weddings for more pictures and a breakdown of the day.
See you at the end of the aisle,
